Bassetti Granfoulard - COMO

Como, historically the city of silk, is a recognized important reference point for the weaving and printing of precious silks. The name chosen for this design is a nod to the classic, decorative motifs and colors used to decorate silk fabrics. A monochromatic, detailed ramage is emphasized by the background and the border with floral paisley motifs in intensive colours. Three variants are proposed. One in warm, bright colors of orange and coral red; one in soft, delicate shades of beige with powder pink with a touch of terracotta; one in cool, rich sea colors from deep blue to azure.

Granfoulard is probably the best-known product worldwide with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The possible uses of this "large cloth" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.

Today you still have it as a tablecloth on the garden or dining table and tomorrow it can be knotted as a room divider or serve as a decorative cover on the sofa .

Attached to a curtain rod as a scarf , it fulfills its purpose as an awning , beach towel or simply on a sun lounger . As you can see, there are no limits to the imagination.
