MATERA - The design was inspired by the traditional art of making marbled paper, where experienced craftsmen skilfully modeled spots of color floating on the water and then transformed them into sophisticated ornaments. The magic of color, combined with perfect movements, created unique and impressive shapes. A color effect is created on the background of the design that is reminiscent of the flowing colors of this accomplished skill. In the foreground, in an elegant tone-on-tone movement, the paisley motif enriches the middle section and the border. Particularly popular color combinations: The color gold is combined with intense red and blue tones, while another variant combines the sophisticated tones of dove gray and beige.

Granfoulard is probably the world's best-known product with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The uses of this "big cloth" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.
