BARISANO - This design was inspired by sophisticated floral motifs typical of fine fabrics such as silk, satin, brocade, and damask. In this motif, the wonderful ornamentation of Indienne fabrics, which arrived in Italy from the Orient, is highlighted by its luminous and iridescent reflections. Delicate ornaments in the center create a new, imaginative ramage with an embroidered effect, while the floral borders are embellished with highly decorative meandering bands that frame and accentuate the entire design.
