Bassetti Granfoulard

HANBURY - The picturesque Hanbury Garden on the promontory at Capo Mortola, on the Ligurian coast, is home to a variety of tropical and subtropical plants.
It is also known for its artistically valuable fountains, statues and architectural elements.
But here it served as inspiration for this somewhat calmer Bassetti design. The design takes the typical lines and shapes of the old traditional damask fabrics and transforms them into elegant oval geometries that are decorated with decorative effects and sophisticated textures. A magical play of light and shadow, as is known from fine silk fabrics.
A beautiful border with floral paisley motifs completes the design.

There are three color variations: the first, warm and delicate, in shades of cameo pink and mauve; the second, more masculine, in shades of gray and quartz blue; the third in shades of olive green and moss.

Granfoulard is probably the world's best-known product with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The uses of this "big cloth" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.

Today you can use it as a tablecloth on your garden or dining table, and tomorrow it can be tied up as a room divider or used as a decorative cover on your sofa .

Attached to a curtain rodas a scarf, it is just as useful as a sunshade , a beach towel or simply on a sun lounger . As you can see, there are no limits to your imagination.
