Bassetti Granfoulard

ISOLABELLA - A real gem of botanical diversity and at the same time of baroque art is this ship-like island in the middle of Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. The terraced areas are planted according to color, unique plants decorate this baroque castle, the Palazza Borromeo.

The Bassetti artists took this unique setting as an idea and created a classic design. The charm of this design transports us to the Italian baroque gardens of Isola Bella. A classic paisley motif is interpreted in the traditional Granfoulard style, inspired by the island's vegetation. The soft swirls, enriched with precious plant details, envelop the decorative elements and the small flowers. The simplicity of the flounce enhances the whole with a change of color characterized by a chevron of micro-motifs.
Three variants are proposed: one in the soft tones of beige and dove grey, enlivened by a touch of olive green; one in the shades of silver grey combined with blue grey and the last, more intense and lively, with brick red combined with golden yellow.

Granfoulard is probably the world's best-known product with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The uses of this "big cloth" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.

Today you can use it as a tablecloth on your garden or dining table, and tomorrow it can be tied up as a room divider or used as a decorative cover on your sofa .

Attached to a curtain rodas a scarf, it is just as useful as a sunshade , a beach towel or simply on a sun lounger . As you can see, there are no limits to your imagination.
