Bassetti Granfoulard

VERONA - A tendril pattern that resembles a staging - with its flowers that seem to dance and the flowing color scheme that underlines its specialness. The elegant, sinuous lines of the interiors of "Casa degli Atellani", renovated in the 1920s by Milanese architect Piero Portaluppi, provide inspiration for a rich and refined design. After a break in color, a small decorative border with an oriental pattern is replaced by the bouquet of flowers, the intensity of which gradually decreases towards the top.
At the same time, the background color appears more prominent and is additionally enhanced by sponge dabs in an original way.
There are two color variants: one in shades of blue and beige with antique pink and terracotta flowers; the other in warm taupe and mother of pearl with flowers in gold, green and pastel yellow.

Granfoulard is probably the best-known product worldwide with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The possible uses of this "large cloth" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.

Today you still have it as a tablecloth on the garden or dining table and tomorrow it can be knotted as a room divider or serve as a decorative cover on the sofa .

Attached to a curtain rod as a scarf , it fulfills its purpose as an awning , beach towel or simply on a sun lounger . As you can see, there are no limits to the imagination.
